Dear Helen, it is Niki here.... I was 19 years old if you remember, when we first met and I spent nearly everyday at your home (goodness knows how you stuck me, but you did!) It seems like a lifetime ago. I know you used to look forward each evening to our cup of tea and our wee natter. I remember when it was time for me to go home, that you would come out into the hall, waiting for me to give you your big hug and kiss for the night. We also had such laughs when all the family got together at your house, however, I think the laughs were at me... but they were such fun times. I am an emotional wreck talking to you about these small memories, and I shouldn't be, as they were happy memories of you. My Mum and Dad were also so very fond of you. You were such a beautiful vibrant person and that never changed over the years. Helen, I am so so sorry that I wasn't allowed to see you in hospital.....
